August 2005 saw the birth of Australian actress Winta McGrath. The actor, who is currently 16 years old, is the son of Heidi Chapman and Craig McGrath.
Craig McGrath, AD Winta’s father, is an anesthesiologist. Conversely, his mother Heidi Chapman is a well-known neuroscientist. Heidi, a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Birmingham in the United Kingdom, is a mother of three sons.

Winta McGrath is the youngest of three brothers, Zenn and Gulliver. Gulliver and Zen McGrath are two of McGrath’s siblings.

Born on July 30, 2002, AD Zen was 11 years old when he was cast in Dig, a 10-part US television miniseries written by the two authors behind the popular shows Heroes and Homeland, respectively.
Josh, played by Winta’s second brother, is a 13-year-old who has spent his entire existence in a cult compound and is unaware of his significance to the future in The Dig.

McGrath Contributes Significantly To An HBO Series
Since 2020 Raised by Wolves, the first American science fiction series on HBO Max, featured Winta as one of its key protagonists.
In the program, McGrath portrays 12-year-old Campion, a resilient and sensitive child raised by his artificial parents, Abubakar Salim and Amanda Collin.
Raised By Wolves begins when a ship carrying humans from Earth docks and Campion encounters religious people for the first time in his life. After that, Campion begins to wonder if his artificial parents actually know what’s best for him.
Winta went on to win the 2021 Young Artist Award for Best Leading Artist in a Television Series for his depiction of Campion. Winta is represented by three arts: Felker, Toczek, Suddleson & Abramson in the United States and Emma Raciti in Australia. Although Winta’s specific path into acting is unknown, it is likely that it began when his older brother discovered the art form—which was kind of an accident.
Gulliver said in a Sydney Morning Herald interview that he started his acting career at age six. His mother received a call at the time from his school inquiring whether he would like to try out for a commercial.
The part was in a milk commercial where he was stalked by strawberry cows.
Winta’s brother was so enamored with it that his parents enrolled him in an acting school in Brunswick. This resulted in additional commercial auditions as well as a play called Poor Boy, starring Australian-born actor Guy Pearce.
Gulliver’s brothers had to eventually choose the same route after his acting career took off.
Is Winta Related To Kiernan Shipka, the Actress?
In September 2020, numerous online forums discussed Winta’s striking likeness to American actress Kiernan Shipka, who portrayed Sabrina Spellman in the Netflix series Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (2018–2020).
Several memes were also discussed. Many also attributed the misconception to the character of their names.
Even though it was just temporary, the misunderstanding spread to the point that many Redditors mistakenly thought they were actual siblings. Or at least, a lot of people suggested that Winta McGrath and Kiernan Shipka should play brother and sister.
Furthermore, some people think Shipka, a former member of Mad Men, is a girl, and Winta, the character in Raised By Wolves, is her sister. However, Kiernan Brennan Shipka, an actress, is the only child of Chicago, Illinois-born Erin Ann Brennan and real estate entrepreneur John Young Shipka.
