On December 24, 1971, Doña Nereida Morales and Enrique Martín Negroni gave birth to Ricky Martin, a singer. Similarly, his parents raised him in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Ricky’s real name is Enrique Martin Negroni Nereida Morales. The singer’s mother, Doña Nereida Morales, is a former accountant, while his father, Enrique Martín Negroni, is a psychologist.
Furthermore, his father had previously worked as a regional administrator for a Puerto Rican mental health organization. Unfortunately, Ricky’s parents separated when he was two years old. As a result, his mother gained custody of Martin. Despite his mother’s custody orders, the current singer was allowed to visit his father.
