Tim Otton and the late Sally Otton, the proud parents of NFL player Cade Otton, were constant sources of encouragement throughout his career.
Cade’s tremendous NFL career was formed in significant part by their unwavering support, love, and family legacy. Cade Otton, born on April 15, 1999, attended Tumwater High School in Washington before becoming a successful tight end with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League.
Otton’s excellent senior year at the University of Washington in 2021 paved the way for his NFL career.
The Buccaneers drafted him in 2022, and he surprised fans with a game-winning score from the legendary Tom Brady. He finished his rookie season with 42 receptions for 391 yards and two scores.

Sally was more than just a football mom; she was a triathlete and educator who left a legacy of love and tenacity.
Otton recently sent a heartfelt statement on Instagram, praising the family’s perseverance and remembering their mother, Sally. The caption reads:
“I am grateful for the affection that unites us. We continue to be strong in memory of Mom.”
Cade is inspired by his parents, especially his late mother Sally, as he pursues a career in the NFL. The Otton family remains together, honoring Sally’s memory and conquering life’s hardships with love and unity.

Ryan Otton, the younger brother of former Husky star Cade Otton, is making his mark on the football field. Ryan’s football career at Washington began with a struggle, a hamstring injury, and the death of his mother in his freshman year. Ryan wears the famous No. 87, which commemorates Otton’s on-field career, just like his brother.
Even though he is not yet well-known, coaches see a lot of potential in his abilities and dedication to daily development. Ryan had a surprise appearance against Colorado last season, proving that he is ready for primetime. He still has a few years to play, but he’s a player to watch for the Huskies.
