Surprisingly, Regina and Reina’s parents gave them names that have the same meaning. In December 2018, the elder sister said on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan that Reina and Regina both meant “Queen” in Spanish and Latin, respectively.
“Regina means “Queen,” and your sister’s name, Reina, also means “Queen.” “What a happy coincidence,” said the host.
In reaction to the statement, the actress stated that her mother was her father’s second wife, and when the couple welcomed their first child, the actress’ mother planned to name her “Thomasina.”
Her father, on the other hand, had a different plan since he wanted his daughter to have a regal name. As a result, he discovered the name Regina.
“My sister surprised me.” And he couldn’t leave her. Reina is her name, as Regina elaborated.
