Danica Patrick is Terry Joseph and Beverly Ann’s well-known daughter. Terry also referred to as TJ played a crucial role in helping Danica transition from go-karts to a Cup ride.
The second child of the pair, Brooke, is a pediatric physical therapist. Go-karting piqued Brooke’s curiosity at first, but her elder sister soon developed an interest of her own. Danica’s life and accomplishments have been greatly influenced by her parents. The two managed her career in 2010 before IMG World signed her.
The former professional American race car racer Danica Sue Patrick was born in Beloit, Wisconsin, on March 25, 1982. Having won the World Karting Association Grand National Championship three times in the mid-1990s, Patrick had a lot of winning experience from a young age.
The famous NASCAR driver has also taken home other honors, such as Most Popular Driver in the 2012 NASCAR Nationwide Series and Rookie of the Year in the 2005 Indianapolis 500 and IndyCar Series. She became the most successful woman in American open-wheel auto racing after winning the 2008 Indianapolis Japan 300.
In addition, she is the only female race winner in the IndyCar Series. She also holds the records for the highest female finish in the Daytona 500 and the Indianapolis 500, along with a few other firsts for female drivers in the United States.

Terry “T.J.” Patrick and Beverly Ann welcomed a son named Patrick into the world. The devoted couple has another daughter, Brooke, in addition to Danica. The mother of two worked as a mechanic for a friend’s machine at the snowmobile event where the two allegedly went on a blind date. Sadly, there aren’t any wedding-related public records.
On the other hand, the former racer has received great support from her parents. TJ would lead her crew as a former racer, and her mother would monitor her racing results. To help develop gifted young talent, the father of two established a new go-kart squad back in 2015. The former racer wanted to impart the strategies that had made their daughter famous.
In an interview, Danica disclosed that her father has a strong passion for go-karts. But she was appreciative of her father for being a puller rather than a pusher. When the legendary driver of NASCAR announced his retirement in 2018, TJ was overtaken with emotion. The loving father wholeheartedly agreed with his daughter’s decision. He thought this was the right time to start a new chapter in her life.
