In a little Massachusetts town on June 13, 1998, Mikayla Nogueira was born. Alongside her older brother, she grew up. Nogueira periodically updates her personal Instagram feed with pictures of her family. On June 17, 2018, she shared pictures of her brother and father with the caption:

When the US was struck by the coronavirus epidemic in March 2020, Mikayla and her mother found themselves stuck at home with a lot of free time. The mother of Mikayla, a teacher by trade, wished to carry on imparting knowledge to her pupils while abiding by coronavirus laws.
Although Nogueira suggested it, her mother had no idea how to use TikTok. As a result, Mikayla set up a TikTok page in her name and guided her mother through the platform’s nuances. The first movies on the page were instructive films about the homestead.

When Mikayla was 10 years old, she bought Avon makeup from a mother’s friend and that is when her passion for beauty began. She began with straightforward beauty regimens and gradually improved her skills in all areas of makeup.
Instead of using makeup as a means of gaining notoriety, Nogueira describes it as an art form. Her affinity for makeup began years before she became well-known online, as can be seen by taking a look at her personal Instagram page. Her beloved Dodge’s personalized license plate says MAKEUP.
Although Mikayla is not opposed to imitating other people’s makeup styles, she is equally skilled at creating her own. Mikayla had a terrible case of adult acne shortly after turning 21. She searched the internet for a makeup-related answer but couldn’t find one, so she decided to design one. Mikayla revealed to the For You Podcast that she came up with a fix accidentally:
“As my acne continued to worsen, I thought, “I can’t deal with this anymore. I simply began covering it with concealer. One day, I simply let it dry after forgetting to blend it out and leaving it in place to sit. As I started to apply my foundation, I became aware that it appeared as though I had no acne at all. Did I just invent something here, I wondered.
Nogueira had created something, but it needed to be improved before she could introduce it to the public. She uploaded the video to TikTok when she had mastered the three steps, and it quickly gained popularity. The initial routine’s popularity was aided by media outlets and beauty experts.
In The Know quoted Mikayla as saying, “For much of my life, makeup was what I wanted to feel happy, to experience a sense of love.”

Mikayla’s strong Boston accent is the first thing you hear when you listen to her.
