Aymeric Laporte is a professional soccer player from France. In June 2023, he married his long-term lover Sara Botello.
The famed defender only invited two Manchester City teammates to a sumptuous wedding in Spain attended by close friends and relatives. City striker Erling Haaland was among them, and he was joined by his girlfriend, Isabel Johansen, to bless the newlyweds. Aymeric and Sara have a son who was born outside of marriage.
While he resides in England, his wife splits her time between Manchester and her native Bilbao. Aymeric Laporte is a professional Spanish soccer player who currently plays for the Spanish national team as a left defender. Aymeric Laporte, a Spanish soccer defender, is married to Sara Botello, his long-term partner. The pair married on June 25, 2023, after years of courtship. The famous French athlete first visited Spain in 2010. Aymeric was already a major defender for Atletico Bilbao when he met Sara Botello in 2016. Sara, a soccer lover from Bilbao, recognized Aymeric and fell in love with him the moment he approached her.
Sara Botello, a Bilbao native, is a trained dancer who specializes in ballet and modern dance. She formerly worked as a cheerleader for the basketball team Bilbao Basket, as well as in dance performances in her hometown. Laporte and Sara were open about their love and regularly shared photos of themselves on social media.
In August 2022, the couple had their first child, Lucay, after nearly six years of marriage. Laporte’s Younger Brother Is a Professional Soccer Player as Well
Lionel and Agnes Laporte gave birth to Aymeric Laporte on May 27, 1994. His parents had a sister named Alexia and a younger brother named Leo Laporte. The younger brother of Aymeric Laporte, born in 2004, is also a professional soccer player. Leo, unlike his elder brother, is a striker who can also play as a winger on occasion.
In 2020, Leo began his professional career at the age of 16. After finishing his youth career, he signed his first professional contract with Deportivo Alaves in October 2018. He posted on Instagram after the signing, “I am happy to announce that I have signed my first professional contract at @deportivoalaves.”
