The couple, who are now residing in Virginia, wants to move elsewhere while continuing their long-distance relationship. The reality star declared his desire to go to Arizona, and Susie would follow him there. Clayton stated on the Not Skinny but Not Fat podcast by Dear Media:
We’re now in Virginia Beach, but our next move will be for her to move to Los Angeles while I go to Scottsdale.
The connection between Clayton and Susie on The Bachelor changes
The duo decided to live together after obtaining Susie’s return following The Bachelor. After a short time together in Clayton’s Virginia Beach homeland, they decided to live apart in different cities and maintain a long-distance romance. He said the following in the podcast interview:
“We’re like, “There’s no pressure. We don’t know if this is going to be a month-long [relationship] or if this is going to be a lifelong connection.” Just let’s love and rejoice in one another.
To further their aims and goals, the two are moving to separate locations. He responded as follows when asked where it was:
We’re only a 50-minute flight apart, but we’re both pursuing our goals, and I think those are the places we want to be geographic.
Susie allegedly recommended living apart because he had a busy work schedule, according to him. He declared:
“I mean, I spend 10 to 12 hours a day on my computer.” Therefore, she offered to visit Clayton in Los Angeles so that they could meet up on the weekends. We’ll wait and see what happens. We are unsure if we will enjoy the extended drive.
Clayton and Susie will make every effort to make their long-distance relationship work, despite the distance, the former beliefs.
Even though he believes that “distance makes the heart grow fonder,” if one partner feels that the distance is having an impact on their relationship, they will swap partners. Regarding the future, he said:
She has her own goals and aspirations. We’re going to try it out. One of us will move in with the other if it doesn’t work and we feel that our distance is hurting us.
The couple got hitched following The Bachelor’s 26th season. She and the other two finalists, Rachel Recchia and Gabby Windey, were the ones with whom The Bachelor admitted to being in love in one of the episodes.
The news surprised the three women, and Susie abruptly left the platform. After the considerable drama and thought, he decided not to present the last rose to any of the remaining women. Instead, he came back to win Susie after The Bachelor was over. They eventually grew close and moved in together.
