Joshua David Manson (born October 7, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Colorado Avalanche in the NHL.
He made his BCHL debut with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks in 2008-09. He was committed to Quinnipiac University but chose Northeastern University after being selected in the sixth round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the Anaheim Ducks. Manson signed a two-year, entry-level contract with the Ducks, giving up his final year of NCAA eligibility.
Following several successful seasons with the Ducks, he was traded to the Colorado Avalanche on March 14, 2022, for Drew Helleson and a 2023 second-round draft pick. Manson received a scholarship to play NCAA Division I hockey at Quinnipiac University before transferring to Northeastern. The Colorado Avalanche traded him in March 2022, despite his career highs, and went on to win the Stanley Cup.

Julie Manson is the stunning wife of Josh Manson, an American professional ice hockey defenseman. Kimberly and David Consani gave birth to Julie Ann Manson (née Consani) on February 20, 1992, in Villa Park, California. She attended Calvary Chapel High School and received numerous trophies while playing volleyball for her high school team.
Mrs. Manson went to Cal State Fullerton and played volleyball for three seasons after graduating from high school. For her final season, she transferred to the University of California, Los Angeles. After graduating, she spent five months as a color analyst at UCLA. She also started working as a social media manager and project coordinator at Skiver Advertising. Jack Johnson, Manson’s defensive partner, stated that when the squad learned about the upcoming “moms’ trip,” their first thought was about Josh.
