She addressed her child, whom she referred to as Bebe, personally, saying, “I hope you loved your first live performance.”

Gehlfuss and Matsuda shielded the media from the details of their 2016 nuptials. Then, a few days after his wedding, he told everyone the fantastic news.
The couple wed on May 13, 2016, but did not post wedding images until May 15, two days later. He included a lovely line from D. H. Lawrence in the caption of one of his photos. He confirmed the news to People magazine the following day, on May 16, and talked about his wedding plans and upcoming honeymoon.
“I wanted to invite a lot of my cast mates, but since we’re a franchise, I would have had to invite the whole Chicago franchise,” he stated of his celebration intentions. The pair wed in a “grand wedding in Ohio” on Friday the 13th.
He had promoted Chicago Med when they were on vacation in New York. Gehlfuss and Matsuda had intended to travel to Japan, a country with which she is familiar because her mother is partly Japanese.
Matsuda was accessible for the wedding of the couple. She had previously worked at the Viceroy Hotel Group in Los Angeles, California, from June 2014 to August 2015. She has worked with Illinois Action for Children as the director of advocacy since December 2021.
