Bryant completed 22 of 34 passes and scored two touchdowns, helping Northwestern (8-5) finish the season on a high note with a four-game win streak. Coach David Braun acknowledged Bryant’s contributions, saying,

Following his January appointment as defensive coordinator, David Braun was promoted to head coach in July, succeeding Pat Fitzgerald, who resigned amid a hazing scandal investigation. Braun’s leadership changed a team that had previously struggled with a 1-11 record in 2022, leading the Wildcats to an 8-5 season and a bowl victory in his first year in charge.
