In spite of this, life has not been simple for the actor and his wife, particularly after the birth of one of their daughters, which resulted in physical complications for their firstborn daughter.
Bratt revealed in a People article that she and her husband were absolutely confused and disoriented in the years following the birth of their child.
The first few years of his daughter’s life, he and his wife “were like being in a tunnel of darkness because we didn’t know what to do,” he adds. Bratt and his wife, Soto, are three dedicated parents.
They took the time to educate themselves on their daughter’s sickness and exerted every ounce of their energy to assemble the best team of therapists possible. As a result of their combined efforts, Sophia achieved tremendous strides.
Subsequently, the enthusiastic father remarked that his daughter “understands everything, laughs quickly, is affectionate, and is a physically beautiful child.” Mateo, her younger brother, was also incredibly supportive and prodded his sister when necessary, according to the speaker.
Eight years old It appeared to be six months
During a separate interview, Bratt informed a source that the first eight years of his marriage to Soto felt like six months due to their compatibility.
They were cast as lovers in Pinero in 2001, and a year later they wed. In addition to their shared passion for performing, they were committed to raising their children and keeping them together. The father enjoyed speaking with his children and hearing what they had to say.
Benjamin Bratt and his wife are selective about undertakings
Since having children, the couple admits they have been more selective about the tasks they accept. The actor stated that his family was the most important thing in his life and that he did not look forward to leaving them to work on a film.
On each successive level, the stakes are dramatically increased. The employment path you choose will separate you from what you value most, your family, and subject you to an entirely new level of scrutiny.
After four years on Law & Order as Detective Reynaldo Curtis, Bratt departed the show to pursue a career in movies. The films The River Wild, Traffic, and Miss Congeniality comprise his filmography.
His wife, Soto, began her modeling career. As the exotic Kitana, she is perhaps most known for her appearances in Mortal Kombat and its sequels Mortal Kombat: Annihilation in 1997 and Mortal Kombat 3: Domination in 2003.
Prior to her marriage to Bratt, she was married to actor Costas Mandylor for three years until divorcing him in 2000. Despite making headlines for his breakup with Oscar-winning actress Julia Roberts, Bratt had never been married before to his union with Soto.
