Therefore, Hood worked with the local band Dollaz & Dealz to record the song “M.O.E.” in 2006.

How did Ace Hood start his Professional Career?
He initially encountered DJ Khaled outside the WEDR 99 Jamz radio station’s office in 2007.
After receiving an autobiography and a demo tape from Hood, Khaled asked him to have Hood do a freestyle over the instrumental to his song “I’m So Hood” from his second album, We the Best.
Hood was subsequently acquired by Khaled’s We the Best Music Group record company.
His debut album, Gutta, was released in 2008. Trey Songz and T-Pain appeared on “Ride” and “Cash Flow,” both of which were made available as singles. Hood has also released the mixtapes Ace Won’t Fold and All Bets On Ace.
On June 30, 2009, Hood’s second album, Ruthless, was made available on Def Jam. The album’s lead song was “Overtime,” a collaboration between The Runners and Akon and T-Pain.
