Actor Manoj Arrest: What Happened?
Part-time actor Manoj Naidu was detained by Shamirpet police after a terrible event at Celebrity Resort. Police arrested him for firing an airgun at Siddharth Das, the ex-husband of his live-in lover, Smitha. The Saturday resort villa fight left Siddharth wounded and Manoj under police arrest.
Siddharth Das reportedly visited the property to meet his 13-year-old daughter and ex-wife Smitha. The couple split in 2019, and Siddharth was ordered to remain away from the family throughout their divorce process. Smitha was supposedly dating Manoj and living with him and her children.
Siddharth and Smitha’s bickering throughout their meeting heightened tensions. Manoj reportedly shot Siddharth with an unauthorized airgun out of intimidation. Fortunately, Siddharth escaped and immediately contacted the police.
The emergency call was answered to quickly by Shamirpet police, who arrested Manoj. Despite minor airgun pellet injuries, Siddharth cooperated with authorities and filed a complaint against Manoj. More inquiry found that Manoj was living with Smitha and her children, even though Siddharth was forbidden from visiting.
Three months ago, Siddharth’s son accused Manoj of harassing and torturing his sister, complicating matters. Later in the month, the Child Welfare Committee would interview the youngsters.
