This week’s episode of the well-known reality TV program included a segment about Whitney’s friend, trainer, and business partner Jessica Powell’s wedding.
On September 27, 2022, TLC’s My Big Fat Fabulous Life will return with a brand-new episode. They married in a simple ceremony after nearly five years of dating Isaiah. Both the ceremony and the reception took place outside in a rustic barn. Jessica broke down in tears after carefully planning her wedding.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life star told her father she wasn’t sure whether she would be able to make the nuptials. On the other hand, her father helped her feel more at peace. Jessica sobbed uncontrollably as she made her way down the aisle. The celebration, however, felt happy after the ceremony. The couple also gave a lovely first dance. She and Whitney were happy that everything went well at their wedding and that nothing bad happened.
My Big Fat Fabulous Life star Jessica Powell first met her husband In 2016. In 2016, Jessica first ran into Isaiah Martin while doing work for her father’s business, Powell Fitness.
Isaiah intended to pop the question to her in July 2021 in the same place where they first met after dating for several years. On Instagram, Jessica announced her engagement.
In the caption, she added:
“He took my hand and brought me up the stairs to greet our family and a few close friends who have been with us from the beginning. I had just completed ‘Hot Shot 19’ (CrossFitters would remember this). I am ecstatic and in love since it was wonderful and faultless.
Finally, the couple got hitched on April 16, 2022. Their hashtag was #oneinamartin. Isaiah got onto Instagram after their wedding and posted a picture with the caption,
“My life’s work! In this and the next… Mrs. Martin, I beg your pardon!
Isaiah enjoys working out just like Jessica does. He also helped his wife during her career in competitive bodybuilding. Three natural figure competitions saw Jessica participate and take first place. Jessica was introduced as Whitney’s trainer before the two became business partners.
Fans were first introduced to Jessica’s father in the first episode of My Big Fat Fabulous Life, who helped Whitney create a diet and exercise routine. Jessica used to work at her father’s fitness center.
Jessica helped Whitney get ready for competitions involving powerlifting. They eventually collaborated as partners for Whitney’s No BS campaign in 2021. They will commemorate their six-month anniversary on the show in the next episodes.

In this week’s episode, Babs was getting ready for her wedding when Whitney and Jessica visited her. Since this was the first time the My Big Fat Fabulous Life star’s mother had stepped out of a hospital institution, Whitney was worried. Babs was being teased by Jessica as she prepared.
“Your invitation comes with a condition. Only those who want to dance are allowed to attend the wedding. I’d better see you tonight on the dance floor, ma’am.
The My Big Fat Fabulous Life actress was ecstatic to see her mother dressed up in the meanwhile. She remarked:
“Mommy, I’m so happy. It’s going to be a great day today. Are you truly that enthusiastic? Because you’re so adorable, you’re my girl. I love you.
