Addison Rae Is Excited About Her New Film ‘Fashionista’

Addison Rae

After winning over audiences on mobile platforms, Addison Rae has her sights set on the big screen! Rae has recently been revealed as the star of the next Fashionista movie from Paramount Players.

When you factor in TikToker’s multi-picture deal with streaming juggernaut Netflix, things are looking up for the upcoming celebrity.

She still has lots of opportunities to prove herself, even if He’s All That, the first movie she signed on for as part of the multi-picture contract, only received a 30% on Rotten Tomatoes and a 4.3/10 on IMDb.

The New Addison Rae Movie, “Fashionista”

According to a recent Deadline exclusive, Rae had registered for Fashionista. The film’s most recent script was written by Amy Andelson and Emily Meyer, and it is being produced by Jennifer Gibgot and Andrew Panay for Ethea Entertainment. The Studio’s production is reportedly under Ashley Brucks’ direction.

The movie’s storyline synopsis has not yet been made public. In all honesty, neither have they hired a director. It’s unlikely that the show will start anytime soon.

Rae managed to climb to the top of Netflix’s Most Popular Movies list for the week it was released, despite earning lukewarm reviews. According to the magazine, casting for the film will be decided upon in the coming weeks while it was still in the early stages of development. Sources for the article claim that several studios wanted Rae to be the face of their next projects because of this.

Rae specifically chose Fashionista because it was the kind of movie she wanted to have on her portfolio. The TikTok star-turned-actress endorsed the Deadline article on her Instagram and Twitter, as expected.

In He’s All That, a gender-flipped remake of the same-titled teen rom-com from 1999, Rae made her acting debut. She fills every role.

The actress said to Variety in January that she was driven by the want to show people that she was not confined to one thing.

She said, “I want to portray both the bad guy and the nice man. I’m ready for something as deep, as emotional, and as real as I can get.

She continued before acknowledging that going through the filmmaking process had changed her perception on movies and TV shows. Yet, she claimed that she benefited from binge-watching Breaking Bad.
