Adele Attends Super Bowl ‘Just For Rihanna’ & Her Halftime Show

Adele

Adele’s sole purpose for attending Super Bowl LVII in Glendale, Arizona on February 12 was to watch Rihanna sing during the Halftime Show.

Adele and her boyfriend Rich Paul attended Super Bowl LVII on Sunday, February 12, and they appeared to have a fantastic time in the stands.

The Glendale, Arizona matchup between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs was a pretty big event for football fans, but Adele, 34, had previously stated that she was merely at the game to watch Rihanna, 34, perform during the Halftime Show.

Adele said on Friday, February 3, during her Las Vegas residency act, “I’m only going for Rihanna.” She said, “I don’t care a flying f***,” in the funny incident captured on film and published on social media after it occurred.

The newly rebranded Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show, which was produced by DPS in collaboration with Roc Nation, featured Rihanna’s first live performance in five years.

Thus, it was a major event. Plus, Rihanna disclosed during the event that she is expecting her second child, thus Adele’s decision to attend the game with her longtime boyfriend was the correct one.

And we’re delighted it was such a big deal that Adele and Rich Paul attended the game. As Adele devotees, we at HollywoodLife enjoy watching her at all major events.

A week ago, on February 5, Adele attended the Grammy Awards, where she had a great time with Lizzo and made news with her reaction to Harry Styles’ Album Of The Year award, so we had a great time watching her be her incredible self. Now that we’ve also seen her during the Super Bowl, our year has gotten off to a fairly good start.
