Ademola Adeleke is a businessman and administrator who served as the group executive director of Pacific Holdings Limited, his brother’s company, from 2001 until 2016. Prior to joining Pacific Holdings Limited, Ademola worked as a service contractor for Quicksilver Courier Company in Atlanta, Georgia, from 1985 to 1989. From 1990 until 1994, he worked as vice president of Origin International LLC, an Atlanta, Georgia-based flavor and fragrance manufacturer.
Senator Ademola Adeleke is also a philanthropist and a member of the community. Following the death of his brother, Senator Isiaka Adeleke, he ran in the Osun West 2017 by-election and won under the People’s Democratic Party. Ademola was a member of the All Progressives Congress until April 2017, when he defected to the People’s Democratic Party. Ademola was elected as the PDP’s governorship candidate in Osun State on July 23, 2018, after defeating Akin Ogunbiyi by seven votes.
