Prabhu, 19, was detected using a cell phone during an exam and committed himself by jumping from the college building. Aditya Prabhu was caught on CCTV using his phone during the second-semester test on Monday. After the event, the invigilator gave him to the controller of exams and notified his parents.
College administrators also sent him for therapy. According to the police, Prabhu ran to the top of the 13-story building and jumped off before his parents arrived at school. Police reported that Prabhu was not mentally ill or tormented, but rather acted out of fear.
