Anthony Davis suffered a groin injury in Lakers vs. Grizzlies Game 4. Monday night, the Memphis Grizzlies lost Game 4 to the Los Angeles Lakers, but it appears that the Lakers did not escape the contest unscathed.
Anthony Davis was observed struggling with his hip on the bench throughout the contest, suggesting he may have suffered a hip injury.
Anthony will receive 24-hour-a-day treatment for his right hip, as disclosed by Lakers head coach Darvin Ham after the game. Ham also informed reporters that Davis fought through the injury throughout the entire game.
Chris Haynes stated during the broadcast that Anthony Davis is “not right” despite the fact that the Lakers have not disclosed the specific nature of his hip injury.
In Game 4, Davis scored 12 points and grabbed 11 rebounds on 4-of-13 shooting. Despite his low numbers, he had a significant impact on the contest.
Regardless of whether or not Anthony Davis appears in Game 5, the Memphis Grizzlies are in an extremely precarious 3-1 deficit.
They cannot attempt to draw the series and must instead focus on winning each game individually. The Lakers have found methods to neutralize the Grizzlies’ offense, but the Grizzlies’ frequent three-point misses have not helped.
