On August 6, 2022, Nessa Barrett celebrated her 20th birthday by hosting a sizable, celebrity-studded 20s-themed bash. The D’Ameilo sisters, Avani Gregg, and Sabrina Quesada were among the many well-known attendees.
Josh Richards released a TikTok video with Olivia Dunne wearing a 1920s-inspired dress, leading fans to believe that he was present at the party.
The Australian singer Indiana Massara was also invited by the “Die First” singer, which could only suggest that the two may have resolved their conflict.
Everyone, including Massara, disliked Barrett and her ex-boyfriend Jaden Hossler last year when they broke up with each other and started dating.
The singer called Barrett and Hossler out for shoving their new relationship in people’s faces on her podcast, Dropouts, and stated that they were being “total [crap].”
She praised Barrett and Hossler for establishing a “new poisonous bond,” saying they “deserved each other.”
At the time, Barrett didn’t answer Massara, but when internet users spotted Barrett at the party, they were astounded and surmised that the two had likely patched things up.
Mads Lewis is not permitted entry to the event

While Massara’s appearance at the party startled online users, Mads Lewis’ absence from the invitation equally incensed them.
After Nessa Barrett supposedly “stole” Hossler from Lewis last year, the two were at odds with one another. On social media, they exchanged messages and unfollowed one another.
But they reconnected in June 2022, following the death of Cooper Noriega, a close friend they both had.
In case you missed it, Lewis recorded a TikTok lip-sync video to Barrett’s song “Die First,” which she wrote in memory of her late buddy, and also loved Barrett’s homage to Noriega.
The announcement that Lewis was formally following Barrett was then announced on July 13, 2022, on the tea page of The Original Tiktokroom.
Fans were overjoyed to learn that Barrett had returned the favor, albeit it is unknown if he did.
Fans were a little too enthusiastic, though, as The Original Tiktokroom announced on August 6, 2022, that Lewis had unfollowed Barrett once more.
The couple is the only one who knows what is going on, but it hasn’t prevented internet users from guessing.
Netizens React to Barrett Being Unfollowed by Mads Lewis
Most internet users assumed that Barrett’s failure to invite Lewis to the party was the cause of the unfollowing that occurred after the party.
One commenter remarked, “I’m sorry why is James Charles invited but not her haha,” while another said, “I’m sorry why is Indiana got invited and showed there so I’m puzzled, lmao.”
Some people even said Lewis was being selfish by unfollowing merely because she wasn’t invited.
However, several online users suggested that there may be further causes for the unfollowing. One user said, “I suppose it’s because Nessa didn’t follow her back.”
Assumptions, assumptions, another person wrote. Nessa’s failure to follow Mads back is presumably why he unfollowed them. Did Mads inform everyone that she stopped following because she wasn’t invited? I’ll watch for your predictions.
Hopefully, the drama’s most recent developments will put things in perspective.
