Olamide (@olly_ade), a UK-based Nigerian female, tweeted on July 12, 2023, about £20,400 allegedly owed her by her ex-lover, Ajibola Odusanya. Odusanya has had conflicts with others in the past. A Nigerian lady who saw Ajibola before the incident wrote, “How can such a young guy be so cold, callous, vindictive, arrogant, and lack empathy so much?” The alarming finding that Ajibola owes £20,400 followed.

Another tweet from Olamide claims Ajibola has been avoiding payment and creating excuses to buy time. She soon realized he was “taking her for a fool.” She accuses him of living luxuriously while she struggles financially. In a following tweet, she said everyone had asked how she paid £20,400 to a man after one month of dating.

After complaining about her TL, Olamide’s remark became viral as Twitter users tried to figure out why she would donate so much money to a lover so quickly. Olamide saved for a home down payment for four years before meeting Ajibola, yet she trusted him enough to lend him everything.

Why is Ajibola Omoyosola Odusanya called fraud?

In April 2019, Twitter user @osekita accused Ajibola of fraud using photos. @osekita said Ajibola failed but defrauded others and “changed identities frequently.” Ajibola was arraigned in March 2021 on two fraud and theft offenses. He was arrested for defrauding two friends of $880,000.

Ajibola denied both claims. Chief Magistrate Mrs. O.O. Oshin granted him $250,000 bail with one matching surety and delayed the case. Twitter users who have dealt with Ajibola have complained since Olamide’s call. The real estate magnate Sir Jarus relates three encounters with Ajibola and how he avoided the third, which would have cost thousands of pounds.

Ajibola may repay £20,400 in cash for £11,500. Blanco shared a video of herself verifying the payment with a money counter. Together with Olamide, she deposited £5000 at the bank.
