Garten’s legal career began in the early 2000s, when he joined the New York City law firm Robinson, Silverman, Pearce, Aronsohn & Berman LLP. Alan worked as an associate for the firm for the next two and a half years before it was officially acquired by and then rebranded as Bryan Cave LLP, where he worked as a real estate litigator for the following four and a half years.

Alan Garten’s career took off in December 2006, when he joined The Trump Organization – a network of around 500 privately held business firms owned by the current, 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump – as an Assistant General Counsel. This multinational corporation is involved in real estate development, brokerage, and investing, as well as marketing, property management, and real estate sales. Its headquarters are located in Midtown Manhattan, the core area of New York City’s most densely populated borough, commonly known as The City, in the 664-foot-high (202-meter) Trump Tower.
Alan Garten climbed the ladder of The Trump Organization’s hierarchy during the next six years and was promoted to the post of Executive Vice President in January 2013.
