Alberto Amman was born on October 20, 1978, in Cordoba, Argentina, as a Libra. Luis Alberto Ammann, his father, is a politician, writer, and journalist, and Neilda Rey is his mother. Alberto does not have any siblings, as far as the public is aware, but he is close to both of his parents.

Ricardo Ceballos directed the drama “Las brujas de Salem” (The Crucible), in which he played a role.
Alberto made his television debut in 2008 with the series “Plan America.” In 2009, he starred in the Spanish film “Cell 211,” in which he played a prison guard whose identity was confused for that of a prisoner when the jail was taken over. Alberto’s outstanding performance earned him a Spanish SAG Award for the best acting part as well as a Goya Award (Spanish Academy Award). “Cell 211” was declared the year’s most successful picture.

Alberto portrayed Pablo’s antagonist, Hélmer “Pacho” Herrera, a drug lord and the leader of the Cali cartel. Alberto’s performance made him a household name and earned him the most of his popularity.
