She started out as a camera assistant for independent and big-budget films. Over time, she honed her craft and developed a great eye for lighting and composition, ultimately reaching the position of director of photography.

Was actor Alec Baldwin fatally shot by the cinematographer, according to Halyna Hutchins’ autopsy?

As he is ready to face involuntary manslaughter charges, a horrific video simulation shows how actor Alec Baldwin fatally shot cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set of his movie Rust.

Santa Fe County authorities confirmed Halyna’s tragic death, which happened shortly before 2 pm PST, in a statement released on October 20.

“Investigators think the action captured on camera included the use of a fake gun when it was fired. The agency said that “detectives are looking into how and what type of projectile was used.”

The summary of the postmortem investigation into Hutchins’ death, which was officially signed by New Mexico’s top medical investigator, states that there was “no convincing evidence” that the handgun was deliberately loaded with live ammunition.

Baldwin has said that he did not pull the trigger and has told investigators that the assistant director informed him the weapon was a “cold gun,” which suggests that it was not loaded with live ammunition.

Sheriff Adan Mendoza of Santa Fe County oversaw the first investigation into Hutchins’ death and noted “a degree of carelessness” on the set of the movie.

However, he deferred to prosecutors’ judgment over possible criminal charges after delivering the findings of a yearlong investigation in October. The report makes no mention of how the ammunition wound up on the site.

Alec Baldwin, an actor, is he detained? Charges Investigated

In connection with the fatal shooting of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, the armorer who was in charge of all the weapons used on the set of the Western movie “Rust,” as well as actor Alec Baldwin, will be charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter.

The accusations will be officially filed in New Mexico’s First Judicial District Court before the end of January. Each accused individual will be required to make their first court appearance.

The district attorney’s office has said that Baldwin and Gutierrez-Reed will face “alternative charges.” In other words, a jury would determine not just their guilt but also the specific definition of involuntary manslaughter for which they were responsible.

David Halls, the assistant director, also consented to a plea agreement for reckless use of a dangerous weapon. The plea bargain calls for a six-month probationary period and a suspended sentence.

Involuntary manslaughter while doing a lawful act is the second accusation. Proof of more than usual carelessness in a death is required for this allegation.

“She had such an eye and a visual style; she was the kind of cinematographer that you wanted to see succeed because you wanted to see what she could pull off next,” wrote Joe Manganiello, the actor of the television series Archenemy, on Instagram.
