American author and pundit Alexander Joseph Epstein is a proponent of expanding the usage of fossil fuels. In San Diego, California, he established and oversaw the Center for Industrial Progress, a for-profit company.
The Moral Case for Fossil Fuels, published in 2014, and Fossil Future, scheduled for publication in 2022, are two of Epstein’s works. In his writings, Alex Epstein makes the case for increasing the usage of fossil fuels including coal, oil, and natural gas.
Alex Epstein has had fellowships at both the Cato Institute and the Ayn Rand Institute. The Cato Institute is a libertarian thinking organization.
Epstein disagrees with the widely held scientific consensus that climate change is harmful, continuous, and driven by human activities. He does not, however, like the term “denier of climate change.”
