Alex Ferguson started his football career in 1979 with a local club called ‘Queen’s Park.’ He appeared in 31 games for this team and scored 20 goals.
He moved on to St. Johnstone in 1960, where he played 31 games and scored 15 goals. In 1964, he joined Dunfermline to begin his professional football career.
