In an upcoming Netflix docuseries titled The Real Bling Ring: Hollywood Heist, Alexis Haines will reveal her role in the Bling Ring, a group of seven individuals who raided the homes of high-profile Hollywood celebrities in 2008 and 2009
Haines and fellow squad member Nick Prugo will give an eyewitness account of the events that led to their arrest. Alexis Haines, a mother of two and Evan Haines’ former business partner, has completely changed her life since her incarceration and drug addiction battle.
Alexis and her ex-husband Evan recently divorced, which the influencer announced on her own Instagram. They’d been married for almost a decade. Their decision to divorce, according to the 31-year-old mother, is motivated by a desire to provide “stability for our children, Harper and Dakota.”
She previously acknowledged her marital status, stating that they were in an open marriage, according to sources. Let’s take a look at former Bling Ring member Alexis Haines’ divorce, dating life, and relationship with her children Harper and Dakota before the documentary premieres.
Alexis Haines and her ex-husband, Evan Haines, had an open marriage
Alexis Haines, now Neiers, is a Los Angeles native who married Evan Haines in Mexico in April 2012. She is well-known for her involvement in The Bling Ring gang burglaries, which robbed celebrities of approximately $3 million in cash, expensive clothing, and precious items between 2008 and 2009. In 2010, Neiers was apprehended and sentenced to 180 days in prison. She was released after only 30 days.
Six months later, the Pretty Wild star was arrested for heroin possession and driving with a forged Florida license. She was later sentenced to one year of rehabilitation. She first met Evan Haines, co-founder of the treatment facility Alo House, in 2011 while residing at the SOBA rehabilitation center in Malibu, California, according to sources. Alexis Haines previously stated in September 2021 that she and her then-husband Evan were in an open marriage and that she was dating Braunwyn Windham’s ex-girlfriend Burke’s Kris.
In an interview with OK Magazine, she discussed their family situation:
“Evan and I have a strong relationship. We’re very happy together, and I’m grateful to have a partner who completely accepts my sexuality as a lesbian woman. The kids are happy and have always known I am bisexual.”
She did, however, announce her divorce to her Instagram followers earlier this year. Before the petition was filed, Neiers, 31, told Us Weekly exclusively in a statement:
“After ten years of marriage and 11 years together, we have a fantastic co-parenting relationship. I don’t think either of us wanted to divorce or split up, but that’s how things turned out. Again, I adore Evan, and I believe we would make better co-parents than partners.”
However, it is unclear whether Kris and Alexis are still dating because she has yet to issue an official statement on the matter, and her official social media accounts are similarly devoid of information on the subject. One thing is certain: she maintains an undeniably close bond with both of her daughters, who, as evidenced by her Instagram page, have been a constant part of her life.
