A woman who had been shot on Sunday night near West Garfield Park was found dead inside a parked car in Maywood, according to Chicago Police.
According to CPD, a gunshot took place in the 800 block of South Kolmar Avenue around 11:26 p.m.
According to authorities, the victim was found inside the car with a head wound from a gunshot. The Medical Examiner’s Office has identified the victim as Alexis Wesley, 29.
She was pronounced dead when she arrived at Loyola Medical Center. The cops say they are currently speaking with the person of interest.
