On February 22, Zombieland and Little Miss Sunshine actress Abigail Breslin confirmed her engagement to longtime partner Ira Kunyansky. The 25-year-old actress used Instagram to inform her 531,000 followers of the news.
After Kunyansky proposed to Breslin, the couple was seen sharing a kiss in another Instagram photo. On the other hand, according to Kunyansky’s Instagram post, the 31-year-old offered to Breslin on the Malibu beach. They started dating in 2017.
The romance between Ira Kunyansky and Abigail Breslin
Breslin allegedly romanced actors Freddie Highmore and Tom Sturridge from The Sandman in 2016 and 2017. Breslin and Kunyansky began dating in 2017, however, it’s unknown how they met.
In November 2017, Breslin published a picture by Kunyansky for the first time. Two years later, on the red carpet of the 2019 Tony Awards, the team made its public debut.
On The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon last year, Breslin said Kunyansky had no idea she was an actor when they first met. She said to Fallon:
“When we met, he had no idea who I was, so I told him I was going to Los Angeles. He asked, “Oh for what reason?,” to which I responded, “Well, I’m an actress,” to which he replied, “Good luck.
In addition, Abigail Beslin made a collage of herself and Ira Kunyansky for their fourth wedding anniversary in 2021. The actress said in the remarks:
“My wonderful you, I adore you.”
The actress’s father, Michael, passed away from COVID complications last year, and the New York native thanked Ira Kunyansky for being there for her.
A few months after the passing of her father, Abigail Breslin referred to Kunyansky as “the nicest boyfriend/best friend.” Although Abigail Breslin and her fiancé are formally engaged, no wedding date has been set.
