When he began competing in the Bandorelo and Legends automobile racing series at the age of nine, his career officially began. He won 35 of the 48 races in the Bandolero series in 2005, and in 2008, he made racing history by becoming the youngest driver to win at Virginia’s Franklin County Speedway.
