Carla Hall worked as a model on the runways of Paris, Milan, and London for several years. Carla then returned to the country to pursue a profession in cuisine.
She relocated to Washington, D.C., and founded the Lunch Bunch delivery service. After four years of running her firm, she enrolled in L’Academie de Cuisine in Bethesda, Maryland, and earned a Culinary Career Training credential.
Hall afterward completed an internship as the sous chef at the Henley Park Hotel. She was appointed chief chef of the State Plaza Hotel and Washington Club in 1999.
