All About Jeff Corwin Wife Natasha Soultanova

Jeff Corwin

Jeffrey Corwin is an accomplished wildlife biologist best known for his animal conservation series Ocean Mysteries with Jeff Corwin and Alaska Animal Rescue. Many of his supporters, though, are likely unaware that his wife, Natasha Soultanova, was instrumental in his success. His children, in particular, supported him in his professional pursuits.

Natasha Soultanova is she Russian?

Jeff Corwin has been married to his Russian bride for 24 years. The pair met in 1996 while shopping in Cambridge, Massachusetts’ Havard Square. They started dating immediately after meeting and married three months later.

Soultanova, unlike her spouse, prefers to stay out of the spotlight. She is only known to be Russian and to have been raised in Germany. The pair lives in a lake house near Marshfield, Massachusetts.

Corwin’s Daughter Assists Him at Work

The animal enthusiast and Soultanova have two kids, Maya Rose Corwin and Mariana Corwin. Their first child, Maya, was born in 2003, and their second child was born in 2008. Maya Rose graduated with honors in May 2021 and studied cinema at Temple University.

Corwin’s daughters support him in his professional activities, and he involves them in his initiatives. He accompanied Maya to the 2013 Radio Disney Awards, for example, and his younger daughter Mariana will assist him with Bermuda’s wildlife conservation project in August 2019.

Furthermore, on May 20, 2021, he announced to his Facebook fans that Maya helped him study whale sharks, release black-footed ferrets back to their prairie home, and preserve their honeybee hives.

His wife dropped out of college to support him

Corwin’s wife, Soultanova, has a significant impact on his life. When they married, Soultanova was in undergrad and the 51-year-old was in graduate school, but they didn’t have enough money to cover both.

So Soultanova dropped out of college to allow the Norwell native to complete his Master of Science degree. She also urged Corwin to spend time on an island off the coast of Massachusetts in 2009.

According to a 2009 interview with Bonappetit, the couple lived off the grid to give their girls access to nature. On the island, there was no reliable electricity.

Despite the difficulty of living in such a region, the family prospered due to their support for one another. On the 22-acre island, they even grew their food, including berries, veggies, apples, and herbs.

From alleviating financial worries to accompanying Corwin in every situation, his wife has been his partner-in-crime and a loyal supporter of his aspirations.
