Haley began racing at the age of nine and progressed to clutch and steering in late 2008. By 2014, he has advanced his career enough to compete in the region series. Haley finished sixth at Dover International Speedway after competing in three K&N Pro Series East races.
He joined HSpott Motorsports in 2015 and raced full-time in the Pro Series East for Rookies of the Year. In 2015, Haley made his professional debut in the Camping World Truck Series at the age of 16. He made his Bristol debut for Braun Motorsports in a Chevrolet Silverado #32.
