Bio of Lindsay Carmine

Lindsay Carmine is the newest Survivor Season 43 contestant, and she is unlike the others. She has committed her life to work as a pediatric nurse and supporting her family in times of triumph and tragedy. Downingtown, Pennsylvania is her hometown.
The 42-year-old accomplished her two-decade-long goal, but she still considers herself an underdog due to her age and the notion of Southern hospitality. Carmine is delighted to be on the show and stated the following:
“As one of the older players, I believe people would underestimate me, so I’m thrilled to come out here and take risks that I wouldn’t be able to take in my everyday life.”
Lindsay Carmine and her involvement with the show
Lindsay Carmine told Parade that she had been applying to be a Survivor contestant for the past 22 years. She only started actively applying after her mother died of breast cancer and she experienced two potentially fatal miscarriages.
Despite her success as a pediatric nurse with two children and a lawyer husband, she felt she needed to do something for herself.
When asked about her Survivor fandom background, she revealed:
“I’m an unabashed superfan. I’ve been watching from the first episode of the first season. “Lindsay, I’d like to show you something,” my mother stated before the first episode of season one. There’s a game that’s perfect for you.” I sat down to watch it, and my family and I haven’t stopped talking about it since. I felt deep down in my spirit and in the center of my being that I would one day appear on Survivor.”
Lindsay Carmine, a nurse, believes she has a lot to offer, especially her interpersonal skills. She will rely on a nurse’s strategies and lessons as she moves through the play.
She was born in Greensboro, North Carolina, but she attributes her street smarts and cultural awareness to Philadelphia. She claims to have grown more kind and more open-minded.
