He used to play a number of sports when he was little. In the summer of 2016, he converted to basketball for his High School team. As a sophomore, he scores 7.5 points and grabs 2.2 rebounds per contest. He received an honorable mention in the All-ACC team at the conclusion of his junior campaign.
