He was also employed by agencies to design logos and advertisements for networks like CNN and MTV. After joining Narada Productions, he issued his debut album, “The Waiting,” in 1987.
He gained notoriety for writing the “Fire Dance” section for John Barry’s iconic “Dances with Wolves” (1990) score, which received the Academy Award for Best Original Score.
