Tati was born on January 25, 1996, to a Korean-American mother and an African-American father in San Francisco, California. Gabrielle had two elder siblings who unintentionally influenced her aversion to horror movies when she was growing up.
“When I was seven years old, my two older siblings strapped me down and made me watch the first “It.” Before working on “Sabrina,” I had avoided horror films my entire life because I had been permanently traumatized by them.
Thanks to her mother, Gabrielle began modeling at the age of three. She later posed while still in high school and did work for Macy’s and Nordstrom in San Francisco. “I moved from one of the states with the most liberals to virtually the complete opposite. For the first time, I was able to truly comprehend color discrimination. I discovered that not everyone is as open-minded because it was a more insulated way of thinking.
Tati Gabrielle ensured that her Black Culture
Through theater, Gabrielle campaigned against discrimination at Atlanta’s Spelman College. She took involved in numerous August Wilson pieces as well as plays about Black people.
“Black creative activity, especially doing certain plays and stuff, has a certain type of vibrancy,” she remarked. There is a “layer of celebration through suffering” that has been added.

Tati Gabrielle hopes to see more Asian representation in Hollywood
Tati’s ethnicity as a Korean is a significant component of who she is. The mother of Gabrielle made sure that her children were aware of their Korean heritage. According to Gabrielle,
“She wanted to make sure that when we got older, we’d have the drive to seek out that part of our culture.” It’s the reason I want to visit Korea and why I’m currently working to learn the language.”
She took part in a photoshoot for DAZED Korea in October 2020 that honored her Korean heritage. Tati posted on Instagram,
“Very pleased and thrilled to rep for my Korean side.”

Hollywood, in Gabrielle’s opinion, can do much more to further Asian representation. She told The Wrap that because Asians are a normal part of society, Asian casting in programs should feel natural. Tati clarified:
“I believe that art should reflect life and reality. If you don’t respectfully include the people and stories that make up the bulk of our population, you can’t truly depict reality. These are the “minorities.” The colored people.
Tati Gabrielle is Secretive about her Love Life
Tati keeps her romantic relationships very private. It is not discussed by the 25-year-old in interviews or on social media.

Sadly, thoughts of inadequacy began to creep in. Gabrielle discovered that embracing her authenticity was the greatest approach to overcoming her lack of confidence:
“It took me a long time to mature before I could feel secure in who I am and that who I am is OK. Everyone has flaws, and no one is exactly like me. I would be doing a disservice, not to myself, but to the world if I didn’t be unapologetically myself. I wouldn’t be able to fulfill my purpose in that way.”
Tati told The Wrap that she experienced anxiety and depression again after becoming a television star. She stated that she enjoyed being in the spotlight, but it had its disadvantages. She explained:
“I have a history of anxiety and depression. Having so many eyes on me while still being you, developing my own identity, and trying to understand myself can be starkly overwhelming and anxiety-inducing. I strive to be unapologetically myself as much as I can.”
