Francine Valli (1960 – 16 August 1980) was an aspiring American musician best known as the daughter of the iconic American singer Frankie Valli.

Valli, the daughter of Frankie Valli, passed away at the age of 20. Francine Valli is the daughter of American actor Frankie Valli and his wife, Marry Mandel. In 1960, Francine Castelluccio was born.

She was fortunate to be born into such an affluent family, but her life was brief. University student at the time of her passing.

What caused Francine Valli’s death? What was her age when she passed away?

On August 16, 1980, at age 20, she passed away in Newark, New Jersey. There are numerous hypotheses on the cause of Valli’s death. There were allegations that she committed suicide, however, this is false.

According to sources, Francine overdosed on drugs and died. According to some, the mixture of Quaaludes and alcohol contributed to her death; Quaaludes are a sort of sedative and hypnotic medication.

Frankie, who was aware of his daughter’s addiction, had her enter rehabilitation prior to her passing. Yet, fate had different ideas for them.

Francine Valli maintained a close bond with her parents and siblings.

As previously reported, Francine Mandel was the daughter of American musicians Frankie and Mary Mandel. She had a healthy relationship with her parents, similar to that of any other daughter.

Her parents were married for around 14 years. Despite a promising start, the relationship between her parents rapidly deteriorated. They wed in 1957 and separated in 1971.

Her sister also passed away before she did, which was tragic. Six months prior to her death, Celia Sabin Selleck, Francine’s elder sister from her mother’s previous marriage, perished in a fatal accident.

According to the article, Celia fell from a fire escape and died. Celia reportedly collapsed while attempting to flee her New York flat via the fire escape.

In the same year, the family also experienced the death of Francine Valli’s paternal grandpa due to a stroke.

Her passing was portrayed in Jersey Boys. The 2014 musical play Jersey Boys portrays a short section of Francine’s life. Based on Frankie and his bandmates’ actual experiences, the film depicted his daughter Francine’s death at age 20.

Freya Tingley, an Australian actress, portrayed Francine in the film. The film was a box office smash, and it also earned six Tony Awards.
