MTV’s Jersey Shore: Family Vacation returned with a brand-new episode on September 15, 2022, and this week, Uncle Nino traveled to San Diego to spend time with the cast.
Putting aside the conflict, episode 25 was more entertaining, as the cast attempted to convince Vinny and Angelina to embrace. While fans cheered for Vinny and Angelina, they were just as pleased to see Nino. However, it was the emotional aspect of Uncle Nino that surprised them.
During a conversation with Angelina about his relationship and divorce, the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation actor admitted that he had not gotten over his first wife, despite having remarried.

In San Diego, Vinny’s relative Nino Giaimo joined the Jersey Shore: Family Vacation cast. When they all took a gondola ride, things became more exciting. Vinny began boasting that he had dated over 300 women, while his uncle had dated over 500.
On the other hand, Uncle Nino was anxious to correct his nephew. He revealed:
“I’d say 3,000, no problem.” Six times weekly for twelve years. You figure it out.”
Uncle Nino’s intellect and humor are well-known. He is always able to lighten the mood and make people chuckle. However, when he was alone with Angelina, to everyone’s surprise, he appeared to become more serious.
Angelina and her estranged spouse, Chris, were undergoing a divorce. Consequently, she inquired Uncle Nino how he recovered from his prior divorce.
“You have also been divorced. Was it challenging, or were you simply done?”
Nino stated that the first time he divorced he was depressed. Regarding his second marriage, however, he stated that he was relieved to be free of it. Angelina was anxious to inquire about his depression following his first marriage. Uncle Nino revealed with feeling:
“There was far too much affection, far too much intimacy, and far too much depth. That was my mental and emotional state. It’s a horrible story, but she was childless.”
Angelina revealed during her confession that Nino had been through a lot, but it was clear that he still adored his first wife. He revealed that his first wife wanted to be companions with him, but he was unable to reciprocate. He declared:
“I was too in love with her.”
