On January 20, Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope announced the birth of their first child. On January 16, the couple disclosed that their daughter’s name is Dylan Rose Lawrence.
Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope wed in California on May 1, 2022, and had their first child within a year. The couple posted a lovely statement on Instagram to offer additional information about their daughter.
“We gave birth to her with the most extraordinary midwife, everyone is happy and healthy, and we are overjoyed. What an incredible adventure! Thank you for your unwavering support of this magnificent new life! Keep an eye out for baby-related spam.
Dylan Rose is Lawrence’s third child; he also has two children from a previous marriage.
Joey Lawrence and Samantha Cope wed in California in a private ceremony.
As previously stated, Lawrence married Cope in May 2022 in the presence of the couple’s closest family and friends. HCD Weddings & Events’ Heather Christian Folger coordinated the entire ceremony.
Lawrence’s children from his previous marriage to Chandie Yawn-Nelson, Charleston, 16, and Liberty, 12, attended the ceremony at Temecula Creek Resort in Temecula, California.
The couple had been engaged for around a year before their wedding. In August of 2021, the Blossom star shared the same via Instagram. The performer stated:
“I suppose the cat’s out of the bag! We are appreciative for everyone’s tremendous support and kind words. Knowing that we shall grow old and wrinkly together is the best gift.”
The couple reportedly met on the set of a Lifetime film starring Joey Lawrence’s eldest daughter, Charleston, and directed by his brother, Andrew.
Joey Lawrence’s three marriages have produced three daughters
Lawrence has previously been married to Michelle Vella and Chandie Yawn-Nelson before his marriage to Samantha Cope. In 2002, he wed Vella, but the couple split in 2005.
After their divorce, the singer wed Yawn-Nelson in July 2005. The couple wed at Disney World, where they first met as teenagers on vacation. Throughout their nearly 15-year marriage, Lawrence and Yawn-Nelson welcomed two children, Charleston and Liberty.
Following their bankruptcy filing in July 2017, the pair divorced in 2020. After his divorce, Joey Lawrence met his present wife, Samantha Cope. Cope stated in an interview regarding their relationship before marriage:
“It was a safe setting for me to be myself from the beginning. He adores every aspect of me and delights in my peculiarities. I felt extraordinarily fortunate to receive it. After two weeks, I stated, “I will be with you forever.”
In the same interview, Lawrence voiced his thoughts:
“If you’re fortunate, when you meet the proper person, you get right to the point. I have a friend who is similar to me, speaks the same love language, and communicates with me in the same way. This is quite important. And I’m grateful.”
In September 2022, the couple announced Cope’s pregnancy following their marriage.
