American entrepreneur, tv personality, and auto technician Aaron Kaufman work in the automobile industry. His 11-season career on the reality series “Fast N’ Loud” on the Discovery Channel made him most famous.
When he was young, Kaufman realized he had a knack for disassembling objects and putting them back together again. He became interested in cars as he grew older, which introduced him to the world of hot rods. He became well-known for his skills as a hot rodder, technician, and fabricator.
With the Gas Monkey Garage, Aaron Kaufman gained notoriety and, as a result of his talent, was even called a mechanic’s magician. Early in life, Kaufman developed a penchant for taking things apart and putting them back together, and he spent most of his adult life perfecting that ability.
He was a self-taught fabricator, mechanic, and hot rodder who met the legendary mechanical genius Richard Rawlings at a nearby garage and soon began working for Rawlings. When Fast N’ Loud debuted in 2012, he swiftly advanced to the post of a head mechanic at Gas Monkey Garage and became well-known.

Unfortunately, Kaufman’s concept for the program progressively lost ground, and he departed the reality series in 2017 to pursue other interests. The reality star discussed his decision to leave the show and the renowned garage with Arts Of Gears.
He wanted to design automobiles that were “huge or bigger,” but the dynamics of the show prevented him from working on bigger cars. He said, “But it wasn’t just that.”
The time had come, and I could see the fork in the road ahead of me because there were also some escalating personal problems and professional conflicts, so I made that decision.
Choosing His Path
What has become of Aaron Kaufman? Arclight Fabrication was established when Kaufman, being true to himself and his trade, opened his own business to allow him to follow his true love.
Soon after, he obtained a contract with the Discovery Channel and made a comeback on television with Aaron Needs a Job, his program. The focus of the show was on his aptitude for picking up new skills and his success at positions for which he had little to no prior expertise.
He made it apparent that he wanted to play with bigger toys, therefore his firm, Arclight Fabrication, is mostly focused on undertaking projects that were bigger, more time-consuming to construct, but ultimately unique.
It shouldn’t be surprising that the gearhead favored older vehicles, particularly the Ford F-Series from that era. He has been tinkering with those vicious gadgets in his Texas workshop.
Aaron’s Love of Racing
The car enthusiast got down with FASTR in April 2020 to talk about his rekindled love of fast cars and racing. He claimed that he identified as a hot rodder, built vehicles for the F-100, and aspired to a racing career, showing that he looked to have gained a fresh passion for the fascinating world of racing.
He and the crew built hot rods, which they wouldn’t swap for anything, while they weren’t working on racecars or performing maintenance.
Are Richard Rawlings and Aaron Kaufman still friends?
We all hoped we had something like the brotherhood Aaron and Richard displayed on film. Is their friendship still intact now that Aaron has departed the Gas Monkey garage and the Fast N Loud stage?
Near the end of their collaboration, Aaron and Richard experienced some creative disagreements, although Kaufman made it clear that he had no personal difficulties with Richard. According to reports, they are still close friends today.
