He then verified that he and “Jane Doe” had a “sexual relationship” for two years, but claimed it was consensual. “During that time, she never accused me of wrongdoing, and she described our relationship and friendship as something she wanted to continue indefinitely,” he continued.
“Only after our relationship ended did she hire a lawyer to contact me and request money, which makes me question her motivations,” Jimmie continued. “Her accusations are not only false but also incredibly detrimental. I’ve worked incredibly hard to build my career, and I intend to mount a vigorous defense against her allegations and take all other necessary legal action to defend my reputation.”
A week later, Jimmie once again confessed the affair to his wife in an Instagram apology note. “I want to apologize publicly to my wife, Alexis, for humiliating her with my affair,” he began in an Instagram post on May 18, 2023.
“I’m ashamed that my decisions have caused her humiliation. That is something she in no way deserved. I would also like to repent to my children for being a poor man and father,” he wrote.
He then attributed his corruption to the music industry.
