His career began in 1985. Hezekiah Walker & The Love Fellowship Crusade Choir won a Grammy in 1985, launching his gospel singing career. He ministered Pentecostally.
After the choir’s 1987 debut album “I’ll Make It” and 1990’s “Oh Lord We Praise You,” he went solo. After his 1992 solo debut, “Focus On Glory,” he recorded over 10 solo studio albums, including “Live In Atlanta At Morehouse College” (1994), “Love Is Love!” (2001), “Souled Out” (2008), and “Azusa: The Next Generation 2 – Better” (2016), all of which increased his net worth.
For “Love Is Love!”, Walker and the choir were nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Best Gospel Artist, Traditional. “Live In Atlanta At Morehouse College” and “Love Is Love!” earned him two Grammys.
Walker began his pastoral studies while traveling with the choir, and many of his choir members joined his church Love Fellowship Tabernacle, currently in multiple US cities.
At the Love Fellowship Tabernacle’s 10th Founders Week Celebration in 2003, Bishop Kenneth H. Moales, the Presiding Prelate of the Pentecostal Churches of Jesus Christ, and Pastor Wilbur Jones, of the Beulah Church, confirmed his pastorship.
