All You Need To Know About Laura Benanti

Laura Benanti

Laura Benanti has almost 20 years of theatrical and film production experience and a Tony Award. She played Richard Chamberlain’s co-star in The Sound of Music at the age of 18.

She received one Tony Award after being nominated for five others for her performance as Louise in the 2008 Gypsy revival. Benanti won the Best Featured Actress in a Musical for Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards in 2010.

She has been on television in shows like FX’s Starved, Jason Jones’ The Detour, and Go On with Matthew Perry and Samantha Bee. She has made guest appearances on a number of shows, including Nashville, The Good Wife, Elementary, Nurse Jackie, Eli Stone, and The Big C.

In the entertainment business, the actress has made a name for herself. Benanti is a devoted mother and Patrick Brown’s wife behind the glitz and sparkle.

She has been happily married for more than five years

The Supergirl actress and her fiance Brown tied the knot in New York City’s Riverside Church on November 15, 2015. Guests in the private ceremony included family members, close friends, and people from the entertainment industry, including Jesse Tyler Ferguson from Modern Family and Connie Britton from Nashville.

The brunette beauty donned a strapless mermaid gown by Anne Barge that was trimmed in French Aleçon lace. A flowing chapel-length train, hand-embroidered appliques, a scalloped sweetheart neckline, and an understated wreath headband finished off the lovely bridal appearance.

Her husband, on the other hand, looked dapper in a black suit with a fresh white shirt and black tie. The Broadway legend announced her engagement to Brown in June 2015 by sharing a snapshot of her diamond engagement ring on Instagram.

The actress shared pictures of her wedding band on social media as part of her marriage announcement. It was the singer’s third trip down the aisle, so she was first hesitant to post pictures from her wedding day on social media.

Finally, her spouse gave her the reassurance that she could be joyful and savor the moment. I never judge someone, ever. I never get a bad feeling about you. I never fault you for your life, he said as he proposed to Benanti.

While it might not seem like the most romantic thing in the world, she told W magazine about the encounter in 2016, claiming that it was quite romantic for her since she felt seen.

It wasn’t my first proposal, but it was his, she continued

Prior to this, Benanti was in two committed relationships. She wed Chris Barron, the lead singer of the Spin Doctors, in 2005; however, they were only married for one year before getting divorced. She wed the actor Steven Pasquale in 2007, but the couple separated in 2013 after just under six years of marriage.

Steven Pasquale and Laura Benanti announced to Broadway.com in 2013 that they were divorcing amicably after nearly six years of marriage. Both their friendship and their relationship remain intact.

Family with a Beautiful Daughter

After two years of marriage, Benanti and Brown welcomed their first child, Ella Rose Benanti-Brown, in February 2017. Ella was delivered by the Midwifery of Manhattan in New York City at Mt. Sinai West. She weighed 7 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 22 inches long.

The couple was thrilled to learn of the pregnancy after previously experiencing a miscarriage. Benanti characterized her daughter as clever, independent, and like her mother. She admitted to People in 2019 that “she, like myself, laughs at her jokes.”

She adores engaging in improper behavior. The actress enjoys seeing how much her child grows to love her and her hubby.
