The actress claims to be in her forties despite turning ninety last year. She categorized her June 14th birthday as her third time turning thirty (as per Page Six.) “You must understand that we are both physical and spiritual beings,” the Walk of Fame star continued.
“Since, as spiritual beings, we have time but no age, I have chosen to vibrate at 30.” She continued by stating that her vigor at such an advanced age proves she can work for as long as she desires.
Therefore, she rejects the possibility of retiring. The Madea’s Witness Protection actress is currently filming as Jackée Harry’s mother on Days of Our Lives. Gibbs cannot believe that the majority of the cast from The Jeffersons has passed away.
She believes that she could simply turn on the television and see them all as if they were still present. I speak with them from time to time. “While driving, I’ll simply think about Roxie and converse with her,” Gibbs remarked (as per Black Doctor.)

Gibbs is “doing well” after an incident at her Hollywood Walk of Fame event. The 90-year-old actress appeared to pass out while delivering a speech at her Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony in Los Angeles in July 2021.

A male member of her party of guests intervened immediately to prevent Gibbs from falling. Her daughter, Angela Gibbs, rushed to the microphone to explain that her mother needed time to “calm down.”
The actress returned to the stage soon and explained that she had been overpowered by the day’s heat and excitement. “I felt simply overwhelmed for a moment,” the celebrity explained. “I haven’t felt this ecstatic in a very long time!” The ceremony and incident were witnessed by the famed television producer Norman Lear, who helped propel Gibbs to notoriety.
The actress took a break while the 2,6978th star was placed in her honor on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Her “great-great-grandchildren” helped install Gibbs’ star on television.
Gibbs is the proud grandmother of two grandchildren. She is a member of the video-sharing website Cameo. She stated in the aforementioned Page Six article that she began using marijuana to help her sleep a few years ago, but has since stopped since it was ineffective.
