Maximo, who is of Dominican, Spanish, and Chilean ancestry, was born on April 23, 2004, in Connecticut. Along with his sister Anaya Rivano, he was reared by his parents. Although Maximo’s family is supportive of his social media business, his parents first didn’t get how he became well-known.
His parents are now his biggest supporters, and Cristian Rivano, his father, works with Maximo to create merchandise. The owner and creator of Chameleon Method LLC are Cristian. For a while, Maximo worked as an intern at his dad’s business as they developed product designs.
The “MX” emblem, which gives his merchandise a distinct look, was created by Maximo and his father. In February 2020, Maximo unveiled his second wave of products, which included the slogan “Make Your Wave.” He discussed the significance of that logo with Tyler Boronski:
“Create your swell. You don’t want to follow someone else’s wave, you know. Try to distinguish yourself… I like myself while doing it. The goal was to introduce color.
When he began uploading movies to TikTok, he was certain that he would become well-known
Maximo Rivano asserts that he was aware of his potential for fame before he began uploading videos to TikTok. He enjoyed watching dancers on TikTok like Ander Swilley, but before the notion was floated by his pals, he had never considered a career in social media.
Maximo was more interested in playing soccer before social media. The Connecticut native was a member of his hometown’s Beachside Under-16 Academy. Two images of Maximo playing soccer may be found on his Instagram feed.
Alongside Mark Anastasio and Luca Lombardo, he began sharing dancing videos on TikTok. In an interview with Tyler Boronski, Maximo claimed to have known that TikTok would produce a significant result:
“Luca, Mark, and I produced our first video. We’re going to be famous, think the first thing I said was that, sensed something. I was convinced that something would eventually emerge from this, and it did. It’s a lot of fun.
Additionally, Maximo claimed that consistency and remaining faithful to Mark and Luca were the keys to his success on social media. He added that the group paid heed to fan preferences, which aided in the production of popular and engaging content.
Rivano has enjoyed his time creating material, but he was taken aback by the amount of effort that comes with becoming a social media celebrity. In an interview with Tyler Boronski in February, he said:
“I never anticipated it to be this way. I assumed there was only fun and no ulterior motive. You people miss out on a lot, to be honest. Lots of work, juggling, and time management… But I must say, I had a wonderful time. More things will follow… I am impatient.
