Michael is married to Gillian Iliana Waters, his long-term girlfriend. The pair married in Thailand in a beautiful yet private ceremony. Michael and Gillian have been together for nineteen years before marrying on July 3, 2015.
Michael and his wife explored their relationships extensively in an interview with Rolling Out. Gillian discussed their brief relationship in 1997, which ended because things didn’t work out.
Despite this, they stayed friends for a long period before resuming their romance in 2011. Michael and Gillian think that the appropriate timing led to the couple’s happy marriage.
