Olivia Neill, a social media sensation from Northern Ireland, became well-known for her hilarious YouTube vlogs and cosmetic tutorials. The Belfast native signed up for YouTube in August 2012, and as of today, her channel with the same name has 682K subscribers. The Covid-19 pandemic caused Olivia’s popularity to soar, similar to that of many other well-known content producers.
She increased her fan base on other websites, such as Instagram (604K followers) and TikTok (1 million fans). One of the most reliable YouTubers out there is Neill. Olivia appears to defy the current trend when video creators abandon YouTube after obtaining popularity on other sites.

In Belfast, Ireland, on September 28, 2001, Olivia Neill was born. Olivia never considered being a YouTuber to be a career, despite having some success. She focused on school during the weekdays and posted primarily on the weekends. The idea was to enroll in a pilot program right after graduation.
Then COVID-19 occurred and everything was altered. Most aircraft were grounded due to the virus, leaving pilots without an option until governments were able to stop the virus’ spread.
Olivia’s social media following grew rapidly at the same time. The aforementioned elements persuaded Olivia to forgo her plans to attend flight school in favor of a career as an influencer. In a Q&A published in late May 2020, she disclosed:
“At this time, there is no demand for pilots. It’s probably the least sought-after position. Therefore, I couldn’t justify spending $100,000 on pilot school at this time. I won’t find employment for many years. It appears that we will continue to operate YouTube for some time. Good for you!
Despite not attending university, Olivia intends to stay in touch with her friends who are continuing their education in England. She relocated to London in the summer of 2020, and it appears that she is thriving there.
Olivia dispelled the myth that her parents paid for her move to London in a Q&A that was posted on September 24, 2020. Everything was paid for by her, she said, except the plane tickets, which were covered by her parents. Because she has enjoyed her time in London so much, Neill doesn’t anticipate ever going back to Belfast.
She has, however, gone through certain hardships she brought on herself because she loves to party. In an Uber, she misplaced a bag containing all of her identification and credit cards.
Olivia Neill and her ex-boyfriend John Fletcher had a difficult breakup, but they are now friendly
Olivia and John Fletcher began dating after getting to know one another for a while. Even confessing in her May 2020 Q&A that she planned to marry him, Neill had high expectations for the relationship. However, a few months later, their romance faltered.
The reason for the painful breakup between the couple was kept a secret.
In her September 2020 Q&A, Oliva admitted that her hectic schedule with relocation and social media helped her forget the breakup’s disappointment. She uttered:
“My life has truly been the craziest I’ve ever experienced over the past two months. I’ve been so preoccupied. I would advise you to do that. If I were to give you advice on how to move past a breakup, I’d say to try to stay active because, if you don’t, you’ll just sit in bed sobbing and listening to Harry Styles. We don’t carry out that. That chapter is coming to an end.
Although Olivia stated in the video that she was no longer in contact with John, the two still got along well. She shared a “say it or shot it” video with her ex-boyfriend a month later. While visiting her parents in Belfast, Olivia got in touch with John to see if he’d be interested in appearing in a video.
John surprised her by accepting. When one of them felt uncomfortable answering a question, they would take a shot of alcohol or reminisce about the good and bad parts of their relationship. Although there were a few awkward moments in the film, it was clear that everyone was getting along. Strangely, both of them made suggestions that they had moved on.
Early in 2021, when her coronavirus bubble had been breached, Olivia faced a significant reaction online. Following the response, Neill stopped using social media. Three weeks later, she made a contrite apology to her admirers. Olivia stated in a video titled Day in my Life: Vlog:
“There was a time when I saw a household outside of my bubble and made an extremely selfish and terrible decision. I have no justification for this; it was a terrible mistake on my part. I simply want to accept full responsibility and profusely apologize to everyone I have off the hook. I would never advocate for breaking Covid-19 rules in front of my audience.
Olivia acknowledged criticism for her behavior but said that she stopped using social media due to “false rumors” that were spreading online. Although she was aware that her careless behavior contributed to the rumors, she was nonetheless saddened by what people were saying and sharing. Added her:
I simply needed to step away from social media because it was hurting me. However, I also wanted to take some time to think about what I had done and find a better place so that I could return, apologize, and accept full responsibility for my actions.
