Juan Muñoz’s pleasure and prosperity were a façade, but fate had other intentions for him. Not too long ago, Juan Muñoz made headlines when he was arrested in relation to the notorious Villarejo case, commonly known as the Tándem affair. He was fined 10,000 euros and given a term of three months in prison.
The Prosecutor’s Office had originally requested eight years in prison; however, the punishment was ultimately lowered to three months. He said that in order to spy on a former partner who owed them money unlawfully, he and his brother had hired retired commissioner José Manuel Villarejo.
They also planned to utilize the data they had collected in a future tax battle. While Ana Rosa has never discussed Juan’s problems on her show, she has always been discreet about her personal life. Though this isn’t Juan Muñoz’s first run-in with the law, information about him has come to light over time.
In the Alhendín case of 2007, Juan Muñoz, his brother, and two other businessmen were charged. The prosecution began with allegations of public tender manipulation and bribery connected to irregularities in Granada’s urban area.
